Creating the Video Interview
After adding a position, the next step is to build the actual interview that candidates will experience.
Structure
An interview consists of three optional parts:
Intro Video (Optional)
A short video presenting yourself and your company to the candidate. This is recommended to build your employer brand and help candidates feel comfortable before they start answering questions.
- With intro video: the candidate sees a video window before the first question
- Without intro video: the candidate sees the job title and a "Start Interview" button showing the number of questions
Interview Questions
Record or upload the video questions you want candidates to answer. We recommend 3 to 6 questions that are short and concrete.
For inspiration, see our example questions guide.
Outro (Optional)
A closing video or text that thanks the candidate for completing the interview and explains the next steps. This leaves candidates with a professional and positive impression of your company.
Important Notes
- Preview the interview before publishing to check the candidate experience
- The video interview can only be modified as long as there are no candidates pending to complete it
- If you need to change questions after candidates are pending, see Editing a Position
