Editing a Position

Positions in WiseWay are divided into three main areas, each with different editing rules.

Videos & Questions

Questions can only be modified if there are no candidates pending to record their answers.

If candidates are already pending:

• Option A: Delete all pending candidates, make your changes, then re-invite them
• Option B: Duplicate the position (clone) and make edits on the copy

Settings & Tailoring

Interview settings like thinking time, answering time, retakes, and branding can be modified at any time — even after some candidates have already completed their interview.

Note: changes only affect candidates who take the interview after the change is saved. Previously recorded answers are not affected.

Messages & Notifications

Invitation and reminder templates can be updated at any time. Changes apply to future invitations only — messages already sent are not retroactively modified.
